Engaging interview. The insight into relationships and the caste system is interesing.
Interesting piece, I’d like to hear more about love, romance, and sex in India. I assume cheanges are taking place.
Also chai; pan; a beggar interview; shopping mall and movie theater culture; rikshaw; (clothes) washing at the river; call center reality; family life; discussion of home food food vs street, dhaba, restraunt food would all be of interest.
Namaste
[…] Swajana profiles a man who sells brooms. “Once a family business has been started it will very likely be handed down from generation to generation. Our video here is about one such enterprising young man who sells brooms and mops - going from house to house - he uses his lung-power to advertise his business.” Neha Viswanathan […]
Isn’t is strange that you are proudly presenting entrepreneurship of India and your interviewer cannot even address broom seller respectfully? Language such as “karta” instead of “karte” shows that interviewer considers broom seller lesser than himself. Showing respect is restricted to blog only, is it?
Interesting!!
2 points covered in this video are unique about India.
1) Selling things Using Vocal power!!
2) Caste system with respect to marriages!
Good one again!!
I agree with Ashish on the language, after seeing man other videos here this one stood odd for the language, may be interviewer is not fluent in Hindi?
The reason for m comment is, the parts of the interview where people and their addresses are named should be beeped out showing respect to their privacy.
In all great series of videos, but looks like you folks stopped once a week scheme recentl?????
